The HSN Invoice Report module by Ahex Technologies adds automated grouping of products and services on invoice PDF printouts and provides a reporting tool to export HSN-wise sales details. It operates without requiring manual sorting or layout adjustments.
It adds a customized invoice layout where items are clustered under their respective HSN/SAC code headers. Additionally, the module adds a wizard in Odoo Accounting to generate structured Excel reports containing HSN details, quantities, taxable values, and tax splits.
HSN / SAC PDF Grouping
Lines on the printed PDF invoice are grouped under HSN or SAC code headers automatically.
Tax Rate & Amount Splits
Shows dedicated columns for Rate and Amount for CGST, SGST, and IGST on each invoice line item.
Custom PDF Layout
Features a custom external layout with company logo, header details, payment terms, and page numbers.
GSTR-1 HSN Excel Wizard
Generates a date-filtered XLSX sheet of HSN transactions directly from Odoo Accounting reports.
Additional Custom Fields
Adds fields for HSN description on products; partner type/code on contacts; and USD rate, invoice type, & PO number on invoices.

The module includes a wizard to export HSN detail reports within custom date ranges. The generated Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx) contains the following columns

Module Installation
Place the folder in your custom addons path, update the app list in Developer Mode, and click install. The module will install with no extra configurations.
Update Product & Contact Records
Configure HSN/SAC codes on product templates along with the HSN Description field. Add Party Type and Partner Code on the contact records if required.
Create Customer Invoices
Create customer invoices as usual. Standard invoicing works normally, with optional fields available to record PO numbers, currency rates, and custom invoice types.
Print Grouped Invoice PDFs
When printing invoices, the new template is automatically applied. The lines are grouped by HSN/SAC codes, and CGST/SGST/IGST rates and amounts are displayed per line.
Export HSN Excel Summary
Go to Accounting > Reporting > GSTR-1 HSN Detail Report. Specify a Start Date and End Date, then click "Generate Report" to build and download the Excel file.
