We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our OpenSource new Odoo App/module  Which is available for free on OdooAppStore with the name  Minimum Order Quantity for E-commerce Websites!

Now you can set the Minimum Order Quantity on any product in Odoo ecommerce website. Our Module will do this for you without any hussle. Once you set the Minimum Order Quantity on the Product, It will reflect on the product and the customer can’t buy below that Set Quantity.

What is Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ refers to the least number of units a customer must purchase for a specific product. If anyone trying to buy lesser than that, it will show a warning message that Minimum Order Quantity for this Particular Product is {SetQuantity}.

Installation Process

  1. Go to https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/17.0/ecommerce_website_minimum_order_quantity/
  2. Download the App from Odoo App Store in Free.
  3. extract the Zip file, you will get the folder with the name of “ecommerce_website_minimum_order_quantity“
  4. Copy this folder and paste it inside your Odoo Add-ons Path.
  5. Now go to Odoo and Login, Activate the developer mode and go to Apps & Activate the developer Mode.
  6. Next, click on the Update Module List
  7. Once done, search for the App and click on Install and Activate.

How to Utilize it in Website?

1. Once the App is Installed and Activated, In the Admin panel, it will create a field with the name of Minimum Order Quantity. Whatever QUANTITY we are going to put in it, it will use that as Product’s Minimum Order Quantity in Website.

2. This Minimum Quantity will be reflected to all the customers on the product page On Odoo Website.

3. User can Only buy this product above the set quantity but not lesser than that. If trying to reduce the quantity, it will give a warning message.

4. It is working well with Cart Page as well. No need to customize or add additional functionalities to it… We have covered all in it.

Conclusion

The Minimum Order Quantity for products in Odoo Ecommerce Website is not present by default and If you want to use it, We provide you Our App as Open Source, which provides you the flexibility to modify it as well if you are developer.
