One of the key requirements of the app is to get the current running status of a particular train number based on the date given by the user.

Another important challange in the app is to provide the auto_complete option for all the train numbers, station names across the country.

The Solution

FrontEnd Development

The app was designed by keeping user in the mind to make it more user friendly and flexible to use it. The user don’t need to remember train names or numbers. They can give their source and destination in “search all trains” screen then they can get all train details passing between those two stations. The User need to select a train and all options like seat availability, fare enquiry, live train status and arrival departures were avaialble in the same screen itself. Just a click away on those for their required information.

Backend Development

The app was designed in a way that whenever a user request regarding the service available in the app, then the request will be generated by the app and it is sent to the server and whatever the data server reflects it is fetched by the app and it displays on the screen, so that the user can get the exact information what he/she is looking for.

The Result

PNR Status

PNR Status is Booking Status of your train tickets. When we buy ticket from IRCTC we get unique 10 digit number called PNR number! You can find your PNR Number of top- left corner of your ticket! With the help of PNR you can find information related to your ticket booking status, coach number of train, list of passanger and more. Once you have your 10 digit PNR Number, you can type in your PNR number in text box given in the “PNR Status Screen” and Hit ‘GET PNR STATUS’ button. Within moments we would get pnr status details from indianrail.gov.in servers and we will let you know whether your ticket is confirmed or not.

Seat Availability

Seat Availability in Indian Railways is one of the major concerns as it’s pretty difficult to get them in any time of the year. However, with onset of online reservations, rail bookings have become much simpler.

Indian Railways seat availability can be checked easily in our app by providing required fields in “Seat Availabilty screen”. Within seconds you will get the required information.

Fare Enquiry

Indian Railways Fare Enquiry can be checked easily in our app by providing required fields in “Fare Enquiry screen”. Within seconds you will get the fares of your search.
